What is this? Road weather management systems rely on surveillance data to facilitate decisions on maintenance strategies and driver advisories. Environmental sensor stations can be used to monitor air temperatures, precipitation, as well as the presence of fog, smoke or other conditions that could affect travelers or road maintenance decisions.
